Refund & Cancellation Policy
At AccountbookPro, we work hard to provide genuine QuickBooks products, accurate licensing, and reliable support. Because we sell digital software licenses and offer service-based work, our refund and cancellation rules differ based on product type.
Please read this policy carefully before making a purchase.
1. Digital Software Products (QuickBooks Licenses)
All QuickBooks products—including subscription renewals, license keys, digital downloads, and activation codes—are considered non-returnable digital goods.
Refunds for Software
Because each license key is unique and permanently registered at the time of purchase:
✔ All software sales are final
✔ No refunds are issued once a license key has been delivered
✔ No cancellations are accepted after an order is processed
This policy is necessary to prevent unauthorized distribution and software fraud.
2. Exceptions (Handled Case-by-Case)
We may issue a refund only under the following circumstances:
Duplicate orders (accidental double purchase)
Incorrect product delivered by our team
Order made due to a technical processing error
License key that cannot be activated and Intuit confirms the key is faulty
In such cases, customers must contact us within 48 hours of purchase.
We reserve the right to approve or deny any refund request based on evidence and licensing rules.
3. Accounting, Bookkeeping, and Setup Services
Service-related fees apply to:
QuickBooks setup
QuickBooks installation or migration
Bookkeeping or accounting work
Training or consultation sessions
Service Refunds
Because services require time and labor:
✔ Refunds are not provided once work has begun
✔ Prepaid services may be refunded only if the work has not started
✔ Completed services are non-refundable
If you are unsatisfied with a service, please contact us—we will make every effort to resolve the issue.
4. Order Cancellation
Software Orders
Orders cannot be cancelled once a license key or download link has been issued.
If the order has not yet been processed, we may cancel upon request.
Service Orders
If cancellation is requested before the scheduled service begins, we may issue a partial or full refund depending on preparation work completed.
5. Incorrect Product Purchases
Customers are responsible for verifying:
Operating system (Windows/Mac)
Version requirements
Subscription vs. non-subscription preferences
User limits
Compatibility needs
We are happy to provide guidance before purchase, but once a digital product is delivered, it cannot be returned or exchanged.
6. Processing Time for Approved Refunds
If a refund is approved, it may take 3–7 business days to appear in your bank or credit card account, depending on your financial institution.
